Grab your crew and set sail for wealth and treasure! Plunder islands, merchant ships, attack the navy and run from the bounty hunter. Every successful attack will earn a bounty on your head. Sell the booty for gold, gather treasure cards that give you special abilities. Or bury your treasure where 'X' marks the spot.
Combat doesn't use dice, but your actual crewmates. You know the odds going into every combat, so make sure the odds land in your favor. Sailing depends on how much crew you commit to movement and if the wind is at your back.
Build a city with your friends, just don't expect to win with them. Each round you choose from two actions. Either play a city card, connect roads or property, then claim a property on that card. Or, choose to construct a building on property that you have already claimed.
Meanwhile your friends are also building in the same city. Plan your property locations to score points based on buildings constructed next to your building. But make sure that a road connects back to the city, otherwise you won't score anything.
